From the Vineyard
Vintage Report
2004
2004 delivered the best winter and spring rains for three years. A dry summer and autumn followed, enabling a late vintage. The grapes were hand-picked through April in excellent condition, highlighting great colour and varietal expression.
2003
2003 was a dry year. The vineyard struggled but produced a small yield of powerful and intensely flavoured fruit. The wines were bold, rich and tannic and invited a further period of oak maturation. The finished wines are rich and complex and have attained the mellowness of age.
