Our promise to you

To produce wines of distinction that speak of the unique terroir of our Estate vineyard, our love of fine oak, and the rewards of patience.

A story of friendship and dedication

The Campaspe Estate winery is a joint venture between life-long friends, Geordie Couzoff and Stuart Snow.

They grew up together in the bayside Melbourne suburb of Beaumaris, and on completing secondary school went their separate ways. Geordie was heavily influenced by his European father's love of food and fine wine and decided to pursue his interest further by studying wine making at Charles Sturt University (formally Riverina College of Advanced Education).

After completing a medical degree, Stuart pursued a parallel interest, studying winemaking at the same University. He now works full-time as a General Practitioner in Bendigo and brings both technical and practical experience to the task of winemaking.

The Estate Vineyard commenced development in 1987 and now comprises sixteen hectares of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, and small areas of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.
